Final pneumococcal vaccine jab for CINTA...

Assalam...

Kelmarin kami baru berkesempatan ke UMRA untuk Cinta amik pneumococcal vaccine jab. Ni kira final jab la for pneumococcal ni... alhamdulillah...semua nya ada 4 kali kalau tak silap...

Baby korang ambik tak jab ni? Cik Cinta ni ambik pun as advice from paed dia... actually optional vaccine ni ada dua, pneumoccocal & rotavirus. Paed tu memang galak kan sangat2 baby ambik pneumoccocal jab.. Mahal sikit lah cost dia ... tapi tak kisah lah as long as our baby sihat kan ;D
Weols memang ambik dua2 ni, selain dari injection yang memang wajib ambik tu.

The latest berat Cinta is 9.4kg yerrrrr kawan2.... ehehehehehe...

Cinta pun nangis kejap jer ;D gud gurl..... kali ni paed tak bagi paracetamol pun for in case kalau demam, sebab sebelum2 ni Cinta memang tak pernah demam kalau ambik jab. Alhamdullillah... hopefully kali ni pun tak demam yer sayang.... =)

Owh yer kali ni kene charged RM212 include consultation fees.

What are the benefits of the pneumococcal vaccine?

This vaccine protects against pneumococcal (pronounced new-m'COCKL) infections, which mostly strike children under age 5 and can lead to some of the worst childhood diseases. Pneumococcal infections are one of the most common causes of death in the United States from a disease that's preventable through a vaccine.

Before the vaccine came along, pneumococcal infection caused more than 700 cases of meningitis, 13,000 blood infections, and 5 million ear infections in children under 5 every year, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The vaccine is effective in up to 90 percent of people who get it.

The bugs responsible for pneumococcal are bacteria called Streptococcus pneumoniae. They live in the mucous lining of the nose and in the back of the throat. And when they're plentiful enough, they can cause an infection in the respiratory tract, middle ear, or sinus cavities. Antibiotics such as penicillin can kill them, but up to 40 percent of the strains are resistant to antibiotics.

Pneumococcal bacteria spread by close contact and through coughing and sneezing. Diseases such as meningitis and pneumonia can crop up within days of infection.

Symptoms of pneumococcal pneumonia usually include fever and chills with shaking or trembling, as well as chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath, rapid breathing, rapid heart rate, fatigue, and weakness. Nausea, vomiting, and headaches are also associated with pneumococcal pneumonia, but are less common.

Pneumococcal bacteria also cause some of the most serious ear infections in children.

Berhujung minggu di kota keriangan...

Assalam..

Hari tu incik hubby ajak panjat kota keriangan..mana lagi kalau bukan Genting Highland kan... gila tak nak...confirm lah NAKKKKKK!!! (mak yg ecxited lebih!! ;p )sesaja nak bawa anak dara kitaorang jenjalan..

Tak stay sana pun, balik hari jer.. tapi tak kisah lah..enjoy jugak..lagipun Genting - Shah Alam idak ler jauh mane pun... (^_^)

Gerak pagi...sesampai je cik cinta pulak beradu..haih... xpe kasi dia charge battery dulu... Lena pulak tu tidur nya..sejuk pulak tu...lagi lah... =)

2 anak dara di Genting Highlands...(muahahaha mak dara perasan!!)

Kami just main indoor game sahaja...sebab tak sesuai lah outdoor game untuk anak dara i... untuk mummy dia jer sesuai...;p

Alhamdulillah sampai sana cuaca elok...tak hujan..kalau tak menggigil lah... tak hujan pun still sejuk weh!!
